"When I decided to leave a successful accounting career to start The CSP Group, my vision was to offer our clients a level of service that not only saved them time, but produced better and more consistent results than the competition. Having worked with recruiters in my own career as both a candidate and hiring manager, I knew that the vast majority of them had no first-hand experience in finance or accounting, which hindered their ability to locate and recruit qualified candidates. As a result, I spent more of my valuable time dealing with their misunderstandings than I did going through the interviewing process.

James Cairns, CPA

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Federal Taxation from Florida State University, James began his diverse accounting career as an audit associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers San Diego, working on clients Sony Electronics, Samsung, and General Atomics. He went on from public accounting to lead the finance department of a privately-held international franchisor generating system-wide annual revenue of $100 million before founding The CSP Group. James works with hiring managers (CEOs, CFOs, and Controllers, etc) to find, recruit, and hire the right employees for their team and company, as well as with job seekers looking for their next right career move.
When not working, James enjoys hiking, camping, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & Government from Saint Louis University, Sarah began her career in the hotel industry. Having served in lead sales and event management positions for landmark St. Louis hotels such as the Moonrise Hotel and The Chase Park Plaza, Sarah brings to the table exceptional customer service and organizational skills that are instrumental in the success of The CSP Group.
When not working, Sarah enjoys improv, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Head of Recruitment Strategy
Marc is a former United States Marine with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and over 14 years of progressive, professional communications experience in high risk, high pressure situations. He is focused on recruitment strategy and working with corporate finance & accounting professionals to help them take the next step in their careers.
Marc is an avid baseball fan that enjoys coaching youth sports and playing golf.
