Controller and Accounting Candidates

Companies often engage Recruiters to fill Controller or other Corporate Accounting functions due to a lack of qualified internal candidates as well as the difficulty attracting outside applicants who possess the range of skills and requisite experience they desire, such as:

  • Proven ability to close month-end under pressure.
  • Proficiency with mid-grade and major ERP General Ledger systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (AX, Great Plains, Solomon), SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, WorkDay, AS400, etc.
  • Full-cycle accounting experience with a strong understanding of debits and credits across the financial statements

  • Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Significant experience working with complete sets of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cashflows)
  • Strong Financial Reporting experience (internal reporting for management purposes)
  • Experience working with department leaders/budget owners
  • For Controller and other corporate accounting management positions, experience leading a team of accountants
