$100,000 to $120,000 + 15% bonus
We have partnered with a growing, mid-sized manufacturer headquartered in St. Louis with operations across North America, including 6 manufacturing facilities, to find a Corporate Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of well-rounded, progressive corporate accounting experience, a CPA license, some public accounting experience, and manufacturing industry experience. We are seeking candidates who possess exceptional leadership and relationship building skills, as well as a strong business acumen. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Corporate Controller on all accounting and financial reporting matters
- Ensure proper accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for corporate and across all sites. Specifically:
- Monthly close process
- Inventory accounting
- Cost accounting (standard)
- Payroll accounting GL integrity
- Foreign exchange hedge accounting
- Cashflow (weekly)
- Intercompany transactions
- EBIT variance analysis
- Plant variance analysis
- Capital expenditures and liabilities
- Product line reporting
- GL Integrity
- Management duties
- Set objectives
- Work with direct reports to create professional development plans
- Mentor and guide
- Promote culture continuous improvement, learning and commitment to excellence
- Consistently strive to improve upon financial processes
- Oversee Internal and external audits
- Assigned areas for monthly and annual reporting packages to parent company
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all key department leaders, developing key reports to support overall company initiates
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in public accounting and/or manufacturing accounting at a midsize or large company
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong problem solving and organization and project management skills
- Team oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Management style is hands-on, engaged, and leading by example
