SUMMARY

Privately owned, growing manufacturer based in St. Louis is seeking an innovative problem solver who can derive insights from data, and communicate those concisely with integrity, curiosity, and execution. With a combination of financial and analytical acumen, data and systems knowledge, the person will deliver insights in ways that make significant impacts to the Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Visualization: Work with functional areas to understand their business questions and identify how data structures and visualizations can provide the required insights to run the business and inform decisions.
• Data Modeling: Using MS Excel & MS Power Business Intelligence, convert unstructured data into meaningful datasets for use in reporting, forecasting and analysis.
• Financial Modeling: Analyst will support and improve existing MS Excel and MS Power BI based models to improve integration of sales, financial and production forecasts with other data sources and reporting.
• Pricing Analysis: Analyst will gather and analyze data to model expected volume changes associated with customer price and retail price changes.
• Daily and Weekly Reporting: Analyst will be responsible for preparing several daily and weekly reports that get reported directly to the executive team. Attention to detail and the ability to catch data errors prior to distribution is critical given the visibility. Analyst should build relationships with data providers, ask questions about the data and be able to answer first line questions from executives about the reported information.
• Other tasks may include, but not be limited to budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis & leadership presentation preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 5 years of direct financial data analysis experience preferred.
• Microsoft Power BI Experience
• Advanced MS Excel, Moderate skill in PowerPoint and some Technical Writing Skills
• MS SQL experience
