The Opportunity
The Vice President of Finance & Accounting will serve as a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the firm’s accounting, treasury, budgeting, compliance, and investor administration functions. This individual will also play an important role in supporting portfolio company operations, fund administration, and the launch of new investment platforms.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment and wants broad exposure across private equity, portfolio operations, and corporate finance. The position works closely with firm leadership and portfolio company executives and will have a direct impact on the continued growth and scalability of the investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Finance & Accounting

Lead monthly close processes for the management company and affiliated investment entities.

Develop and maintain the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

Maintain and update the firm’s rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.

Oversee treasury management activities, including cash management, banking relationships, credit facilities, and corporate credit card programs.

Manage payroll administration and employee benefits programs.

Oversee corporate insurance programs and coordinate annual renewals.
Capital & Investor Administration

Maintain capitalization tables across portfolio investments.

Coordinate investor capital calls and related communications.

Assist with investor reporting and related administrative processes.
Compliance, Audit & Tax

Coordinate annual audits and tax return preparation with external auditors and tax advisors.

Manage regulatory compliance requirements for the management company and affiliated investment entities.

Coordinate preparation and distribution of investor tax documentation and related communications.
Portfolio Company Support

Support the launch of new portfolio investments, including entity formation, banking setup, insurance placement, and financial systems implementation.

Assist portfolio companies with annual audit and tax processes.

Help standardize financial reporting and implement best practices across the portfolio.
Strategic Initiatives

Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as the firm continues to grow.

Provide financial and operational support for new investment platforms and other corporate initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA preferred.

Approximately 6–12 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or finance leadership roles within private equity, investment management, fund administration, family office, or operating company environments.

Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and cash management expertise.

Experience managing audits, tax processes, and third-party service providers.

Experience working within modern ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).

Familiarity with private equity fund structures, investor reporting, capital calls, and capitalization table management is preferred.

Experience with investor administration software is a plus.
