Profile

FP&A Analyst with 3 years of experience in modeling, data analysis, and driving efficiencies. I thrive at the intersection of finance, data analytics, and business operations. I am passionate about automating processes to provide insights that empower organizations to make informed and actionable decisions.

Why Hire This Candidate (In Their Own Words): I am an eager learner who is enthusiastic about understanding the business and the main drivers of growth. I am passionate about utilizing data to automate reporting and processes and also to help support sound business decisions. I am a team player, willing to step up and take on additional work to support the team.

Strengths: (1) Curious and eager to take on new challenges/responsibilities, (2) leveraging technology/systems for reporting and automating models, and (3) motivation to make an impact.

Career Highlight 1: I was a leading contributor in developing a unit economics framework (SaaS KPIs including CAC, S&M Efficiency, Cost to Onboard, Cost to Serve) for partnering with leadership in making key business decisions. This framework was used extensively during AOP planning and target setting as the company prepared to go public.

Career Highlight 2: I built a dynamic model linked to our Salesforce data and Workday financials data for forecasting sales performance, existing customer growth, and customer churn. The same model then translated those figures into a PnL revenue forecast, which also incorporated ASC 606 revenue recognition rules. This model was used for AOP planning, as well as managing the subsequent monthly reporting/forecasting cycle.

Hobbies & Personal Interests: I love being active in my free time. From playing sports to camping and hiking, or just weight lifting, I live for exercise. My faith is also important to me. I lead worship at my church every week, and I lead a small group of high school students.

Industry Experience: Banking, Construction/Engineering, Financial Services, Fintech, Insurance, Software

Company Fit: All of the above. From a small credit union with 4 locations to a public SaaS company with 2000+ employees.

Management Experience: None

Systems Experience: Workday financial management, Quickbooks, Stripe, and Symitar Episys.
