Profile

I’m a CPA certified finance and accounting leader with experience guiding organizations through complex accounting, reporting, and operational challenges. Most recently my work has focused on M&A transactions including carve-outs, TSA’s, and post close integration, where I’ve lead teams end to end, from planning to execution. I enjoy building scalable processes and bringing structure to ambiguous situations. I’m at my best in hands on roles where I own outcomes and partner with leadership.

Career Highlight 1: Designed and implemented a shared-ERP solution to support the sale of a multibillion-dollar business unit to a competitor when the buyer was not ready to stand up its own systems. Built controls around shared cash and legal entities, created a monthly cash settlement process, and led teams to operationalize the approach. Partnered with leadership and auditors to enable an on-time close and post-close audit acceptance.

Career Highlight 2: As Controller at a multi-entity, multi-location healthcare organization, rebuilt the monthly close process from the ground up. When I joined, the books were more than eight months behind; by the time I left, the close was consistently completed in 8 to 10 days. I achieved this by designing and documenting clear close procedures by account, implementing materiality thresholds to limit unnecessary reopenings, and training team members on those procedures.

Career Highlight 3: Served as the primary accounting lead and point of contact for a multi-entity M&A transaction, coordinating across finance, tax, legal, and operations. Defined accounting treatment for the post-close operating model and transaction accounting, while working cross-functionally to establish practical paths forward and clear, supportable treatment under U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements.

Why Hire This Candidate (In Their Own Words): A company should hire me because I bring a strong combination of technical accounting judgement and operating experience. I have lead complex initiatives where accuracy speed, and clear communication with leadership and external stakeholders are critical. Im comfortable owning outcomes in ambiguous situations and helping teams move forward while navigating risk.

Strengths: I excel at simplifying complex accounting and business problems into clear, actionable components. I communicate those insights clearly to stakeholders, enabling better decisions and practical solutions.

Hobbies & Personal Interests: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, staying active through running, and following college football and Formula 1. I value downtime that helps me recharge and maintain balance outside of work.
