As a Senior Accountant, I complete month end close, by creating journal entries for prepaid, accruals, lease accounting for all locations and depreciation. I help consolidate financials, upload files if not in the current financial system, and produce cash flows. I manage fixed assets at a corporate level and for one plant location. I manage all leases and use Visual Lease to add and renew leases as needed.

Career Highlight 1: I created a process to reconcile consolidated bank accounts that saved time and able to make sure all cash is being booked with minimal cash adjustments monthly. This process has also help to minimized our outstanding balances.

Career Highlight 2: I have developed a process to keep track of fixed assets and what needs to be capitalized in a timely fashion. This has enabled us to have a clean audit and more accurate data for each site.

Career Highlight 3: By completing the Master Excel certification this has helped me to automate reconciliations by using coding and formulas in Excel. This provides more accurate data and timely completion of reconciliations. Also helps to highlight any adjustments.
