Career Highlight 2: Leveraged a M&A role supporting an $100M+ acquisition into taking responsibility for leading integration efforts and ultimately earning Product Management responsibility for the acquired business. Led the effort to commercialize a LED lighting fixture to replace existing base of high intensity discharge lighting. Product was launched just 18 months after initial concept discussion with category-leading efficiency and value.

Career Highlight 3: Created a mail-order/internet sales retailer specializing in model railroads “from scratch”. Annual sales exceeded $500K. Sole proprietor responsible for all aspects of the business: demand creation, sourcing, fulfillment, planning and record keeping. Ultimately I realized I missed being part of a high-functioning team and the resources that larger organizations can provide.
