Profile
I began my career at a F500 retailer, gaining valuable experience across four different finance, accounting, and strategy teams over the course of a two-year finance rotation program. I then moved to a F500 healthcare company where I’ve honed my data analysis and SQL skills, impacting the company’s bottom line to the tune of ~$80M in a little over a year.
Career Highlight 1: Finding a $40M error on a client for my current employer using complex SQL queries and close contract reading
Career Highlight 2: Writing a whitepaper that convinced my EVP to divest our $150M stake in a company
Career Highlight 3: Building a Microsoft Power Automate flow that automated a manual process for my previous employer.
Why Hire This Candidate (In Their Own Words): A company should hire me because I’ve had a broad array of experiences in my 3-year career. There aren’t many candidates that have been fortunate enough to have had the breadth of experiences I’ve been able to have across my finance rotation program and my current role.
Strengths: I’m great at working independently and finding opportunities for improvement, and I’m a strong negotiator when I’ve been on teams that utilize such skills. I’ve also been told I ask good thought-provoking questions.
Hobbies & Personal Interests: Notre Dame football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, beach volleyball, trivia, sabermetrics
Education: BS Finance
Credentials: Microsoft Excel certified as part of my finance rotation program
Industry Experience: Consumer Packaged Goods, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Retail
Company Fit: The two companies I’ve worked for have been large corporations
Management Experience: I don’t have any management experience yet!
Software Experience: Very little experience with ERP and Accounting software. Did a little bit of work in SAP at my previous employe, booking a few journal entries here and there
