SUMMARY
We are working with our family-owned construction client that is continuing to experience high growth and searching for a Job Costing Analyst. Will work closely with the Contyroller and all departments – project management, estimating, payroll, A/R & A/P for financial-related tasks, cost analysis and reporting. The Job Cost Analyst must be willing to take on the challenges of working in a fast paced, constantly changing environment of a solid, fast-paced business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and organize data from various departments, frequent use of Excel and ViewPoint.
- Prepare and present analysis to accounting team.
- Input critical data in a timely manner with a strong attention to detail.
- Assists CFO, Controller and Cost Accounting Manager in projects and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail required. High degree of initiative and flexibility required to successfully accommodate deadlines.
- Enter Budget to Actual tracking on receivables and expenses.
- Drive team members to provide timely information, updated project specifics and/or any changes. Be the liaison between departments to communicate and track project costs and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and/or equivalent experience.
- Construction experience preferred
- 2+ years’ relevant experience
- Billing experience a plus
